The problem
The contractor’s new website had launched with no redirects from the old URLs, and the staging site’s noindex tag had gone live on several service pages. Enquiries from Google had fallen to a handful a month, and the business no longer appeared in the map results for searches like “renovation contractor Tampines”, where it used to show up.
What we fixed
Recovered the lost pages
Mapped every old URL to its new page and set up permanent redirects, then removed the stray noindex tags.
Rebuilt the Business Profile
Corrected the categories and service areas, added project photos and set up a simple routine for asking happy customers for reviews.
Rewrote the service pages
One page per service, each answering what buyers ask about cost, timelines and HDB requirements, with clear titles and descriptions.
Set up enquiry tracking
Tracked form submissions, calls and WhatsApp clicks, so the monthly review showed enquiries by page and search.
